Meet our Herd

We know each alpaca's personality, likes and dislikes. We spend every day with them and watch them extensively. We learn more about them each day. 

Foxy
Foxy is laid back but takes no bull from her herd mates. Foxy maintains her boundaries well with the others in the herd. She established herself quickly as co-matriarch alongside Dani. As long as you let her choose whether to come up to you, she is fine being nearby. 

Foxy is nearly 6 years old, and expecting her first cria in early May. Given how gentle and patient she has been with Dani's cria, Samwise, I believe she will be a wonderfully loving mother. We shall soon see. We are very excited for her first cria to grace our pastures. She is bred to Laurel Spring Farm's Goose. We are hoping her cria has the same fluffy ears as Foxy and dad, Goose. 

Dani
Dany, aka, Daenerys Targaryen is a 5 years old roan. medium rose gray. She is part of our foundational herd that we acquired in October of 2021. Dany has a curious personality and when pregnant can be aloof, but she is a sweetheart. She will come for hugs, cuddles and pets when she is inclined to. If you are so chosen by Dany for cuddles and hugs feel blessed. She is loving, however it is on her terms and when she deems the energy is right. 

Dany continues to be matriarch of the herd and when we acquired Foxy she graciously shares the role with her. Dany is intelligent and graceful. She is quite maternal in energy and has a soft heart for her cria. 

Dany has had three cria thus far. Her first and second cria were to Alpaca Palace-Z PaPaBear. They were both light fawns named Rheagar and Drogon. 

Dany's third cria is sired by CNTRL Starz Legend's Fargo. Samwise is our first cria on our farm and we are very excited to have him.

Bree


​
​Brienne of Tarth, aka, Bree is a curious girl who loves to be silly at times. Bree has a princess personality and a goofy aura. She likes to stuff herself into small water barrels in warmer weather. She can also be spotted giving anyone the stink eye when they approach without consent. Bree is food motivated and isn't shy about eating out of our hands whenever possible. She is a nonbreeder due to injury as a cria but she we love her just the same. Bree has an incredible coat and I am so excited to see what her yarn looks and feels like. 

Bree does not share food. She is quite a bossy girl when it comes to her feed, she will pick her feed bowl up and move it away from any of the other herd mates when she decides they have attempted to eat her share one too many times. 

Cait 
Cait, aka, Catelyn Stark, is the sweetie pie of the herd. Cait will be 3 years old in September. She is calm, gentle, mild mannered and doesn't mind being hugged occasionally. She hums quietly to herself usually and her Auntie Dany is her biological full aunt. Thus, Cait is very close with Dany and also, Samwise. Cait can be seen helping Dany care for Samwise and ensuring the other alpaca are not pestering him too much. She was the first to dote on Samwise and often gives him top knot kisses. 

Cait is due with her first cria in October of 2023. Her service sires is Amber Autumn Blue Northern, a light silver grey gentle herdsire owned by Central Hill Alpacas Plus. We are so excited for this pairing as Cait and Blue are both gentle, loving and laid back. We expect cria to be ideal for our therapeutic purposes. 

Cait's personality became more aloof when she became pregnant and thus she is less inclined for loving pets, however she continues to hum sweetly to the others and dotes on Sam from time to time, although he has become quite a mischievous boy and sometimes can get on the girls nerves. 

Ivy

​Ivy is a calm and sweet girl. She's standoffish and likes to be on her own grazing the pasture and being in her own little world. She doesn't shy away from a nice hand feeding after she's scoped out the situation and the individual. Ivy is 2 years old and we are hoping to breed her this summer for a first cria from her. Ivy is another offspring on our farm of PaPabear, a gentle alpaca. 

Though Ivy is standoffish she is laid back and sweet. She doesn't require too much to be happy and satisfied. She is bred to TGF Fury at Clearview Farms. He is a macho Fawn alpaca. We are expecting a fawn, beige or white cria in May of 2024. This is Ivy's first pregnancy so we are hoping for everything to go well. 

Izzy 

Izzy is packed full of personality. She is full of derp and sillys. Izzy can most likely be found playing with Samwise and Ivy, pronking happily in the pastures. She is very curious and friendly. She loves to eat out of hands and is always eager to explore new areas and people. She is gentle and loving and does her best to be as silly as possible. If you don't watch your back when you are filling up the hay feeders, you might find your shirt being nibbled on surreptitiously. 

Izzy is 2 years old girl who is also a PaPabear offspring along side Cait and Ivy. Izzy is also bred to Fury, thus Ivy and Izzy's cria will be nearly full siblings. We are absolutely hoping Izzy's goofball personality is passed down to her cria. 

While pregnant we've noticed Izzy has become more standoffish and less goofy though every now and then we can find her being her silly self.
